Automated bagging is packing orders with a machine that opens a poly or paper bag, accepts the items, seals it, and often prints and applies the shipping label in one step.

Why it matters for ecommerce brands

Auto-baggers can greatly increase packing speed for apparel and other soft goods. Bags fitted to the order also reduce void fill and can lower dimensional weight charges compared with boxes.

Common questions

What products work with automated bagging machines?
Mostly non-fragile items that do not need box protection, such as apparel, textiles, and soft accessories. Fragile or rigid products are usually packed in boxes or with an automated box-making machine instead.
