Value-Added Services

Value-added services (VAS) are optional warehouse tasks beyond standard pick, pack, and ship, such as kitting, gift wrapping, labeling, bundling, inserts, relabeling, or product inspection, usually billed separately by a 3PL.

Why it matters for ecommerce brands

VAS fees can quietly push cost per order above the quoted pick fee. Listing every special handling step during 3PL onboarding avoids surprise charges and missed instructions.
