Topic: Import & Customs Entry IMP-072

Why it matters for ecommerce brands

For international DTC orders, DDP avoids surprise fees at the door that cause refused packages.

Common questions

What does DDP mean for a cross-border ecommerce order?
DDP means the seller pays all duties, taxes, and fees so the customer pays nothing on delivery. The seller, or a service it uses, typically acts as importer of record and must collect enough at checkout to cover those costs.
