Put-to-Light

Put-to-Light is a system of lights on a wall or rack of cubbies, each assigned to an order, that shows a worker where to place each scanned item when sorting batch-picked units into orders.

Topic: Systems & Automation Entry SYS-209

Why it matters for ecommerce brands

Put-to-light, often installed as a put wall, lets a warehouse batch pick many small orders and sort them quickly and accurately. It is a lower-cost step toward automation than a full sortation system.
