Carrier Pickup
Carrier Pickup is a scheduled or on-demand collection of outbound packages by a carrier from a warehouse, store, or office, instead of the shipper dropping them off at a carrier location.
Why it matters for ecommerce brands
The daily pickup time sets your real cutoff time for same-day shipping. A missed or late pickup delays every order in that day's batch, even if packing finished on time.
Common questions
- Does USPS pick up packages for free?
- USPS offers free Package Pickup at a home or business address for eligible services such as Priority Mail and Ground Advantage when scheduled in advance. UPS and FedEx pickup terms depend on the account and may carry a fee.
